    I did 12 years in the army reserve. FDC 13 E. Fire Direction Specialist. E7. Did math for field artillery. 8 inch SP. But i am not a veteran. Did not have 181 days of consecutive active duty. But I did get to blow some shit up :).

    I did five FBM runs, one on the USS Daniel Boone, and four on the USS Lafayette, 1975-77, Charleston/Groton/Holy Loch. I was a "forward-puke" Radioman. You nukies busted ass, thanks for your service.

    Used to work with a nuke trained guy, one of the "originals". He enlisted in the fifties, was aboard a diesel boat, got picked up for nuc training, went on to several attack and FBM boats, retired 78. Brilliant guy, RSES CM.
