    jafcb,

That one is a drag because it can really affect your afternoon performance level. I get up once a night to take a leak........sure wish that I didn't have to because it is so disruptive.

If you can't resolve it and are ragged out by day, try squeezing in a cat nap. If I can get just 15 minutes at lunch or before dinner (not after) helps lots.

    Your mileage may vary.

In 1971 when I got out, could not sleep either. Lasted about a year. Wanting to shoot people who pi$$ed me off lasted about 10. I think I have a free one coming though, never used the PTSD defense. Did suck down my fair share of agent orange while traipsing around various jungles, probably why I am old and bald now.

Grew up in Abilene TX, home of Dyess AFB, 96th Bomb Wing, 463rd Aerial Port Squadron, 96th Aerial Refueling wing. I was just a maintenance Tech attached to the 96th Wings MSSQ working as a civilian for DOD. I was there when SAC got changed into ACC and the B1Bs came in. Goddamn those old Buffs were badass. Their payload capacity was awesome. They could land in a 40knot crosswind almost sideways on the runway.

But those B1Bs are some wicked looking birds. You gotta be nuts to fly their Misson profiles. And have gargantuan balls to be on a bomber crew. My hats off to you guys for layin' your asses on the line for the rest of us. Thank you all.

    Thanks for your support

Yeah the Buffs were a bad ass plane, and they could land in any wind, the landing gear down the middle made it possible, it would tun into the wind, not like the other planes where the gear didn't turn

The Bi's are pretty bad ass too, but when they want to do the most damage with the fewest planes they always call out the Buffs, they claim they are going to keep modifying them to fly them 100 years, they are about 64 now

Had a great time. Memories flood back and it was like we were back together after only a day or two, not 35 years.
