James let me know what you find. My bluvac is doing the same thing. I got a new adapter today, and I will try new O rings on my appion core removers.

I'm starting to get leaks on my core tools too, keep forgetting to call Appion to get part numbers for the oring kit. The local parts store will order it but don't seem interested in doing any research.

    You don't say.

Gustav in LAX is light years ahead of EC though. Perry is a good guy.

Perry was helpful back in the day. I haven't seen him in over 12 years though.

Appion recommends using nylog, vacuum grease or vacuum pump oil on fittings. I ordered some vacuum grease off amazon. It was quite a bit cheaper than nylog.

Hopefully all will go back to the way it was before i started having problems. My set up wasnt the fastest in the world but it was ok and it worked.

I like to go to a local place, that way the company will pay for it. They pay for repair /replacement of personal tools that are used for the job.

I called dennis at bluvac. They never got the package. Turns out the chic at the ups store sent it to the wrong address even though she had the tool in he had with the address stamped on the back when she made the ticket.

He sent me a new bluvac today. Said no problem, if it somehow makes it back to u send it in. I told him it wasnt his fault and he replied we will get u a new one so u can get back to work.

All i can say is wow. I was speechless. Ive never had that kind of service before.

So.... i went to the ups store and rose hell! Lol
Stupid chic said i gave her the wrong address and i replied ITS STAMPED ON THE BACK OF THE TOOL! THEY KNOW WHERE THEY LIVE! U TOOK IT OFF THE TOOL WRONG!
They are sending someone to see if they can find the package and get it to the right address. We will see what happens.

Im still pretty floored by the guys at bluvac. Seems like they really give a shit about people and thats rare these days.

The Roosevelt or dsg here doesn't stock sh#=. I never go to Ferguson, but the last time I was there, I don't remember much for vacuum gauges.
Win supply has a lot of tools, I usually buy my stuff there. Larson has a decent tool selection too.
