    Thank you, i didn't know this. I have always wondered why they would choose mA. Only reason i ever use it is when the controlled device calls for mA.
    -Then I never have the resister and radio shacks have all closed up, so I've got to order a 5 pack from amazon and lose 4.

    likely because you see it more in industrial plants and very large buildings. smaller commercial settings have controllers nearby in most cases.
