    I was in Southern Il. Today. The area with the best view is already a madhouse. I plan to stay at the office. Travel in my general area is gonma be a mess

    I'm thinking of taking the day off and driving a few hours to southern Illinois to view the full eclipse. It would be cool to see.

    I was planning on stopping in Benton. It's north of Carbondale and right off I57. According to the eclipse map, should still be in the 100% eclipse area.
