    I agree. I have cleaned a lot of ice machines. I have pics on the desk top that will turn your stomach and they are from a popular national chain bar restaurant. They're not real good because it's back before smart phones. They were bad enough my service manager called me and said stop sending pics!! The other thing I've found is that several companies/techs don't do a very good job at cleaning them. I'll dig up the nasty pics if you want. It's out there. Beware.

    Have a bakery walk-in cooler at a target and the fins are rotting off the evaporator coils and the walls of the box are starting to rust

    Kind of gives a guy a new found fear of bread and doughnuts

    ever walk around a meat killing plant? being afraid to slip over in the cooler and fall into a pool of blood. Ever been in a rendering plant ? seen the trucks coming in? I could go on for hours n hours the stuff Ive seen in a restaurant

    We did a refrigeration job on a Chinese grocery store. Display cooler they filled with ice and fish till that found out it wasn't draining so they turned it off and called us back. 70 degrees in the box 3 inches of nasty fishy water and I pulled the plug out that someone forgot.
