How much you gonna pay me?
What kind of bonuses can I expect and how frequently are they paid out?
    What is the 401k match?
Are you going to pay for me to move down there?
How big a pos are the trucks?
What kind of tooling do you provide the mechanics?
What kind of accounts do you have?
How many are under contract and what percentage of the total are comprised of contract customers?
How big of a moron is the dispatcher?
Does the service manager know what he's doing or is he just a paper pushing yes man to the owner?

These are the things we need to know.

That is one thing that never bothered me, being a bill collector, and when I was single was my prime time, I wouldn't shave for a week or two at a time my hair was wild, and I am about 6'5" and at the time weighed about 225-235, and wore an old field jacket. I would walk into the office with my hard hat on so my hair really flared out of control wearing sunglasses and I would loudly TELL the receptionist I need to talk to somebody about paying these last past due invoices.

I never left empty handed a few didn't pay the full bill but I told them I would be back if it wasn't paid

The best ones were when the receptionist would go to look for somebody and I could hear them whispering in another room,I would loudly say I can hear you, come out and pay this damned bill

I grew up in VA. Still have family there. Driving anywhere near DC is f...... Crazy. Can't imagine how it would be in a service van.

please provide the hourly range pf pay and benefits structure. I might be interested and have a decent ability in the commercial arena. I even have a few customers down that way who would jump.

That’s another thing I get a kick out of, the supposedly “expert” tech who promises the boss all these new customers if he gets hired. Turns out to be a couple trailer house owners that don’t pay their bills LOL

We had a big bellied guy that quit, @knave knows him. He promised a lot of customers and also promised to bring with office staff and service techs.

He ended up bringing 1 tech, 1 salesman, and no customers that I know of

I would never hire a guy who made those kinds of promises for two reasons. first he is a poacher, second he is a liar. its a very rare case where customers follow in commercial. when they do its usually for a reason, which I want to know in advance.
