Need help

    i have come across a problem. Heat pump condenser is not coming on. Checked the obvious breaker cap fuses all are ok but still no power. What am I missing

    there are many causes for your generally described problem - in order to narrow it down you would need to provide more detail.

    EG I have 208/230 v on the top ( hot side ) of the contactor ( this eliminates power input) or the condenser fan is running but not the compressor (this generally confirms the contactor is pulled in ) so now we know the tstat and the controls are ok

    so sunshine how about a little more info because if you can't provide the basics we cant help you and Im not certain you are in the trade - perhaps a apt handy man?

    Some of my best customers were DIYer's

    Yup you really saved money trying to fix it yourself, if you would have called me first it would have been about $100, since you fixed it it is now $4000
