Ive put in a few furnaces over the years all the brands.

I vote for Trane or American standard my self, get the one with the stainless steel heat exch - has a better setup in my opinion. register your unit on line and you will get a longer warranty on the parts 10 or 12 yrs I believe and lifetime ( 25 yrs plus on the heat exchanger)

Trane AMS put a lot of details in their equipment for install I like better than other brands but Im A bit OCD also check the pipe length limits I think from memory some cannot handle a longer run without going to 3 inch - you using 60,000 should be ok
I also like the two stage furnace low stage around 40K - fits most events but you got the full 60+ for when its really cold - should save $$

in reality, all these high efficiency furnaces are bullshit. Natural draft is the way to go. One gas valve fits them all. Then a couple cheap relays and a fan/limit switch.

The old timers had this shit figured out. Bullet proof 6 seer equipment and reliable 40-50 year furnaces.

Hell i still service a York tombstone and natural draft furnace every year. It just won't quit

Actually it was about 40 years ago before a company resurrected from the dead started flooding the market with bare bones units that the other companies had to lower their standards to to keep competitive

And now that company is about the biggest unitary manufacturer there is, ****ed up deal bur Americans want everything cheap, then bitch abut the poor quality when they get cheap

The real sad part is even the top of the line stuff is junk
