    Semi solid refers to the density of the oil droplets in the spray cone. They make hollow, semi solid and solid pattern nozzles.

    If ya gots ya Furnace model# I'll can look up air shutter settings and recommended pump pressure,nozzle. It's just a starting point,but it puts you in the right neighborhood! Solid nozzles sometimes Burn noisy,but you can use any nozzle that works Best as long as you Analyzer Combustion. Cold Oil and or Cold fresh air with Solid nozzles can suck!

    They make more than A-B-W and mobile home nozzles. Had a couple of boilers that came with Monarch brand. Beckett will send two books for free if asked that are good. Guide to Oil Heat and Residential Oil Burners
