    GTT Wannabe on a boat on a bay with a beer, & my Babe!

    Well, darn. These danged mild South Texas winters can fool ya. We got temps touching the 20's and got a no heat call. This package unit is ancient, and this is the third winter for me on this account. The contactor for this heater had been disconnected from the 24v, and the lil ol 5kw was the only heat being put out. I pushed in the contactor to test, BEFORE I read the label, . . . .45AMPS. . . The Carrier boyz found me a new heater in Houston. A little late to claim a warranty issue!!
