While i was working today i noticed that my manifold is leaking from the low side to the center section when hooked up to a unit. Its a 4 valve and only one is leaking so im not freaking out about units being mis charged just yet tho. I contacted trutechtool.com and testo about a repair kit and im gonna retire them til it gets here.

This is also good for me. I haven't used analogs in so long that the otherday when i had to charge two systems at once i was lost. It took me 5 mins to figure out how to read the temp dial on the gauge and another 5 mins to do the simple math. By that time the pressure had changed and i had to start over.
    :D

Guess im slippin. Maybe a week with the ole trusty yellow jackets will be a good thing

I charged 3 units with the yellow jackets and a fluke 52 today. Makes me want to get a set of 550 for back up.

Should consider a digi-cool ak900 as an option. I like them better than sman or Testo.

Sure they do. Thats why folks change the gauges out. Not sure how often tho. My yellow jackets are 5 years old and still like new.....but i haven't used them mich the past 3 years. :D

When I took care of my analog gauges, they didn't lie.

When I let them get bumped around, they go all wonky.

Looks fantastic! I cannot think of a way that would work better or more reliably.
