I don't need all that fancy shit, along with my calibrated arms and hands that can weigh in a charge, tell temp and dew point, measure amp draw, I have Xray vision to see hot and cold spots

It all comes with experience :lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:

I see flir has two new models of the "one" coming soon.
Can't tell what has changed with the unit except a better visible camera.

Their app and image blending look nice but the new Seek has higher resolution and a much wider temperature range by a lot.

Would hate to get a micro USB unit and next phone get a USB C connector

Does anyone here have one of these? I would use it to check receiver levels.

I have managed to get by without a thermal camera for this long. They are becoming more popular and the geek in me really wants one. My cheap side says wait a while, the market will be flooded with them and the prices will drop.

The flir one pro is going on sale in the first half of this year.
It looks like a very good unit.

Flir lowered the price on the new standard version 50 bucks to 200 bucks. The Flir one pro might be overpriced at 400 bucks since the thermal camera doesn't look like any improvement over the standard version.

I would have signed up for one already but the temp range for the Flir one is only -4°F to 248°F

Last year's cheapest SEEK is -40°F to 626°F
The new SEEK Pro is the same temp range, more resolution but they want twice as much money for it.

I'll wait for the market saturation and price drops.
