    No heat call for GSZ13036.
    2*SH 5*SC
    98* comp discharge.
Unit has factory installed accumulator and charge compensator.
    Piston indoor and outdoor.
    Reversing valve was just replaced.
    2 - 12cu in driers
    72* entering outdoor orifice
    53* leaving orifice
    40* returning to compressor
    125/205psi
Plans are to remove all driers, install 16 cu in drier just outside of condenser
Run nitrogen at high pressure through condenser.
Check outdoor piston to ensure compatibility.
    Thoughts?

have u tried to do a pump down? Got any temps across the driers? Those tiny driers suck big time but it could be something else.

What was outdoor ambient temp? And indoor return air temp?

Might be an inefficient compressor, compression ration is very low. Or outdoor orifice is stuck in bypass position.

I haven't yet. No drops across drier that was just installed when reversing valve was done a few days ago. Theres one right before the indoor txv I haven't checked, plan on doing so tomorrow morning.
    48-50 outdoor
    70 indoor

I've proven correct flow thru reversing valve and clearly I'm flooded at compressor. I'm thinking about putting a valve on the bypass thats coming off of compensator which goes from discharge to suction (both vapor)

We tried tapping it and reversing flow, raising head pressure, I made sure the local Goodman dealer has an 055 piston ready for me tomorrow. I'll try pumpdown before anything tomorrow AM

Apparently Goodman only put these Emerson ACC-3637S compensators on select units within a 2 year span. They were apparently trying to figure out their accumulator size? Anyway, Emerson website says they are used for TXV systems.

The compensator was a cost cutting measure so they wouldn't have to use an accumulator. They were installed on both orifice and txv models I believe.

That tube coming off the compensator is connected only to the shell, the tube inside goes straight through, it isn't a bypass. That is not your problem.

    Update:
Unit will pump down, recovering refrigerant now. Got technician gathering piston assembly from local Goodman dealer. Can't wait to cut these driers out and relocate them.
    Will keep you guys updated.
    Thanks.

Ok guys so after recovery and removing liquid driers, we found that the outdoor piston was backwards. But not only was it backwards, it had some kind of homemade looking spring behind it. It was also dirty, we replaced the piston, new gaskets and nylog'd the fittings. It is under evacuation right now. Broken with nitrogen once, I will keep you guys updated.
    Thanks.
